Sample roasting/cupping the 2016 Christmas & Holiday Blends

The process is almost finished. We have sourced some amazing coffees for the 2016 Holiday offerings.

Each year for the past 14 years we have offered new special blends for the Holiday Season.

We have hit 2 major milestones this year, and we are thankful to our customers for their support.

  • This will be the 15th year in a row that we have offered our Christmas and Holiday Blends.
  • We have roasted over 10,000 loads of coffee by-hand at the Roasteria.

We will start taking orders for the 2016 Christmas Blend and 2016 Holiday Blend on December 5.

I have new roast profiles for Sumatra, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia

Re visited some old cupping notes and roast logs for these coffees – and made some subtle and some substantial changes.

In some cases the effect has been dramatic.

We started Laveggio 17 years ago and I have been roasting by hand for almost 10 years.

In early October I will hit the 10,000 load mark.

Each production load has been meticulously documented and cupped.

This roasting and cupping experience allows us to provide high quality, consistent coffee day after day, and is the foundation  of the value that we bring to our retail customers and wholesale customer base.
