We are expanding our operation and are looking for people to add to our team. At Laveggio we are focused on providing a unique artisan coffee experience in our espresso bar. If you are passionate about coffee and have professional Barista experience, or can demonstrate a long history of customer centric restaurant/hospitality experience, we would like to speak with you.
All positions require excellent references. Barista positions require that you pass an introductory palate test, during a cupping session with the roaster. [column large=”12″ first=”true”][panel title=”Barista”]Barista positions require; that you have a great palate, an outgoing personality behind the bar, a great work ethic and the ability to multitask all day long. You must be a mature team player, able to step in and support other positions when needed, and have excellent people/ sales skills. You will be expected to brew drip coffee to SCAA “Golden Cup” standards and make hand crafted espresso drinks to Laveggio standards on our 4 group Linea. Bagging retail coffee orders and register proficiency is required.
Current opening; 30 hours per week 7:30 am start time
[column large=”12″][panel title=”Roasting Room Assistant “]Roasting Room Assistant positions require; that you are both task and detail oriented, handle a physically demanding and challenging work environment where you will lift 10 -15 lbs lbs regularly and handle considerably more when unloading green coffee deliveries. Wholesale and some retail coffee bagging/packing, is done daily as well as assisting the roaster with general roasting/maintenance. keeping the roasting room clean and organized is your main focus. You will manage and deliver coffee to local accounts. You must have your own reliable transportation.
Current opening; 25 hours per week 7:30 am – 12:00 noon
[column large=”12″][panel title=”Shift Closer/Cleaner”]Shift Closer/Cleaner positions require: that you be a mature, responsible and prompt, task oriented team player, have excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete your tasks efficiently without supervision. The ability to step in and support other positions when needed, is critical. You will clean air-pots, restock supplies, bus and clean tables, load the dishwasher, etc.
Current opening 10 – 15 hours per week 3:00 – 5:00 daily
